Michael -- Why not a call to the Trib to get an explanation from the editors and bosses? I'm not implying there is a reasonable explanation, in light of the Trib's proclaimed reach, but I'd still like to see what they have to say for themselves.

Even though little Davey said that the fans will get refunds, it's not gonna happen. David knows how to mess with fans minds and he could care less about fans.

Glad to hear this neighborhood institution is sticking around. Many, many fond memories with friends drinking coffee or eating at Earwax.

Just read Wharton's Ethan Frome and then saw the play in previews. Found the performance to be spellbinding.

Usama is a lying sack of crap.

He got his ass kicked for---at the age of 41---walking UNINVITED into a teenage girl's home and propositioning her and her friends.

He would have been killed for this sort of behavior in the muslim world so many of you asshats admire.

@Barbara P.
I see that you did edit your remarks. I did refer people to David's original remarks on his website and to the UK site if anyone wanted to take issue with anything I posted.
I don't know any of the Cassidys and I don't want to.

A couple of other things. I must say that I am truly baffled by this quote from Longworth: "A high-speed rail network would alter, perhaps profoundly, the region's shallow sense of itself as an economic commercial entity."

I really don't understand the argument that the dispute in Wisconsin is a Midwest issue. The question of how to structure a state's finances and how to compensate and deal with its employees is an issue in the entire country.

They found her not guilty?...what a giant step backwards this is!
The reason people resort to shock collar training is because they lack the skills to train without them. And using a collar over the lower back to "tickle" the dog into a sit?

They didn't have swan boats there back in the '60s, so they must have been brought back relatively recently.

I can agree that public education in the U.S. is in dire straits, byt why lay the blame solely and wholly at the union's door. http://tunc.biz/university_of_chicago_love…

@ Bobbie
no comment is put here without a comment from where it came from . If a person wants to see the context of the comment, they can go that site and make their own decision.
Many posters who use names like STARGAZER, we know this is Mandy and BP or PAZJD is Barbara P. This is well known within the Cassidy community as they often reveal themselves to others by their real names.
We only reveal our take on their comments on youtube and such.
I have never taken a comment of their's and pretended it was my own.
For the purposes of discussion, I and others will take reference to videos on youtube and other site's comments.
Posting information to the internet means that you are not private!
I assume that other people could take our comments to another site and we will not be offended.

"I know a couple of those people and I will let them know they were put on here against their knowledge and let them take it up with this website's owner."

Are you suggesting that Carno "done goofed" and that "consequences will never be the same"? http://youtu.be/q-8yLB1KA9Y

You put other people's names and said they posted something on another board and then you copied what they wrote and put it on this board. If these people wanted to post on HERE they would have.

To respond to David - my frustration is the attack that we are trying to "defraud" our customers. We are not serving Prosecco and calling it champagne.

The Ethicschair post is a non sequitur. It states the SPJ Ethics Committee objective is to educate and not to condemn and then spends the remainder of the post defending condemnation.
