New Gmail, Google Chat, and Google Meet settings provide you more control over your information

Dear dfghjikol,     To give you more control over your information and help support compliance requirements, we are launching two new settings for Gmail, Chat, and Meet. With these settings you can choose how your information is used in Gmail, Chat, and Meet and in other products across Google.     What do I need to know?     Smart features and personalization in Gmail, Chat and Meet is the first setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be used to offer smart features within each of these services. Smart features in Gmail, Chat, and Meet that depend on your data include:     •   Automatic email filtering/categorization (Primary/Social/Promotions)     •   Smart Compose and Smart Reply in email     •   Summary cards above your email (Package tracking, travel, and more)     •   Extracting event details to create calendar entries     Smart features and personalization in other Google products is the second setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be shared with other Google products to enable personalization features. Features in other Google products that depend on Gmail, Chat, and Meet data include:     •   Assistant reminders of your bills due     •   Maps displaying restaurant reservations     •   Travel bundling your itineraries     •   Google Pay showing loyalty cards     What do I need to do?     If you want to continue using the above features and more after January 25th, 2021, you need to choose in Gmail settings to keep these features on. If you have already made your choices for these settings on either your mobile Gmail app or desktop, no further action is needed. You can change these options in Gmail settings at any time. Learn more about our updated Terms of Service

fttttrty@gmail.com We're improving our Terms of Service and making them easier for you to understand. The changes will take effect on March 31, 2020, and they won't impact the way you use Google services. And, because the United Kingdom (UK) is leaving the European Union (EU), Google LLC will now be the service provider and the data controller responsible for your information and for complying with applicable privacy laws for UK consumer users. For more details, we've provided a summary of the key changes and Frequently Asked Questions. And the next time you visit Google, you'll have the chance to review and accept the new Terms. At a glance, here's what this update means for you: • Improved readability: While our Terms remain a legal document, we've done our best to make them easier to understand, including by adding links to useful information and providing definitions. • Better communication: We've clearly explained when we'll make changes to our services (like adding or removing a feature) and when we'll restrict or end a user's access. And we'll do more to notify you when a change negatively impacts your experience on our services. • Adding Google Chrome, Google Chrome OS and Google Drive to the Terms: Our improved Terms now cover Google Chrome, Google Chrome OS, and Google Drive, which also have service-specific terms and policies to help you understand what's unique to those services. • Your service provider and data controller is now Google LLC: Because the UK is leaving the EU, we've updated our Terms so that a United States based company, Google LLC, is now your service provider instead of Google Ireland Limited. Google LLC will also become the data controller responsible for your information and complying with applicable privacy laws. We're making similar changes to the terms of service for YouTube, YouTube Paid Services, and Google Play. These changes to our Terms and Privacy Policy don't affect your privacy settings or the way we treat your information (see the Privacy Policy for details). As a reminder, you can always visit your Google Account to review your privacy settings and manage how your data is used. If you're the guardian of a child under the age required to manage their own Google Account and you use Family Link to manage their use of Google services, please note that when you accept our new Terms, you do so on their behalf as well, and you may want to discuss these changes with them. And of course, if you don't agree to our new Terms and what we can expect from each other as you use our services, you can find more information about your options in our Frequently Asked Questions. Thank you for using Google's services. Changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

dfghjikol fghujikol We'll soon publish changes to our Terms of Service that may affect the Google services you use. Starting January 22, 2019, services offered under these terms will be offered by Google Ireland Limited instead of Google LLC. We're making similar changes to the Drive, Play, YouTube, and YouTube Paid Service Terms of Service. You can find our new terms here. At the same time, we're also updating Google's Privacy Policy to specify that Google Ireland Limited will be the data controller responsible for your information and for complying with applicable privacy laws. These updates will take effect if you're based in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland (unless otherwise stated in a service-specific privacy notice). Our updated policy is here. Nothing about your experience in Google services will change. And nothing is changing in terms of your privacy settings, the way your data is processed, nor the purposes of its processing as described in the Google Privacy Policy. However, if you don't want to accept these changes in our terms and Privacy Policy, you can choose to stop using the applicable services. If you use Family Link to manage a Google Account for users below the age of consent, then please take some time to talk to them about these changes. You can see and manage your data in the Google Dashboard. And you can always change your privacy settings and data controls anytime in your Google Account.
